The implementation of the Copyright Directive is in full swing, and therefore it is time to take stock of issues, solutions and perspectives in the Danish adoption, as well as include experiences from other EU countries.
On Wednesday 11th of March, stakeholders will gather in “Industriens Hus” to discuss the implementation of the Copyright Directive, also known as Article 17, as well as the implementation of the responsibility that the directive imposes on online content service providers.
The Danish implementation process is already well underway, but the seminar will give participants a status of the Danish process from an EU perspective, which is why representatives from both France and Sweden will provide insight into their experiences with implementation, as well as provide input to the Danish process.
The focus of the seminar will therefore be on:
- perspectives and opportunities in relation to the forthcoming consultation process and the public debate
- to make legislators aware of the main problems and possible solutions in connection with implementation
- to promote a constructive dialogue between stakeholders on the practical implications of the new legislation
The seminar is free and will be held on Wednesday 11 March 2020 at 12.15 – 16.00 in “Industriens Hus”, H.C. Andersens Boulevard 18, 1553 København V.
