At the same time, Charlotte Enevoldsen and Kaspar Lindhardt said goodbye to the board. Charlotte and Kaspar have both made an important contribution to the Rights Alliance’s work to protect rights, and the board would like to thank them for their invaluable efforts.

Copyright power at the helm

Nicky is the Head of Legal at Koda and has many years of experience as Head of Copyright Office at the Ministry of Culture. Nicky has many years of copyright expertise and a strong relationship with the rights holders. He has in-depth knowledge of the work that needs to be done to ensure the protection of rights today and the work that lies ahead to ensure creativity and diversity in a digital world that today is largely driven by the development of artificial intelligence. The board is pleased to welcome Nicky as a board member and leader of the Rights Alliance board.

Nicky Valbjørn Trebbien says:

“When it comes to protecting rights, the Rights Alliance is a flagship organization in Denmark and abroad. The importance of having an organization that thinks about rights protection in a 360° perspective cannot be overstated. The unique focus not only on enforcement but equally on changing user behavior means that the Rights Alliance has played a crucial role in the creative industries’ ability to build a legal market. Throughout my 13 years in the Ministry of Culture, I have always had a close and trusting relationship with the Rights Alliance, and I am proud to be able to get even closer by joining the board. I look very much forward to the collaboration.”

The board warmly welcomes Nicky as head of the board and looks forward to the collaboration.

An invaluable contribution

As head of the board, Charlotte has been at the forefront of the Rights Alliance at a time when rights protection has faced new agendas and challenges with the advent of artificial intelligence, which both supports and challenges the creative industries. Charlotte has played a key role in establishing the position that the Rights Alliance has today, where her ability to create calm and overview has contributed to the fact that stakeholders, politicians and the industry today orient themselves towards the Rights Alliance.

For many years, Kaspar has supported the development of RettighedsAlliancen through his work on the board, where he has helped to ensure stability and cohesion in the association. With his great diligence and fundamental belief in the Rights Alliance and the association’s members’ common agenda of creating good conditions for the protection of rights, Kaspar has helped ensure recognition of rights and support for the Rights Alliance. Something that the Rights Alliance’s efforts today bear the mark of. The board would like to thank Charlotte and Kaspar for their great efforts and contributions to the protection of Danish rights holders’ content
