Rights Alliance Secretariat is responsible of the day-to-day administration of the organisation. We are a small team located in Vesterbrogade, where we work closely to limit the challenges of the illegal market. Our competencies range from law to communication to data and technical expertise. Rights Alliance’s approaches to rights protection are reflected in the Secretariat, where our strength lies in our far-reaching areas of expertise.

Ditte Rie Agerskov
Ditte is responsible for the Rights Alliance’s communication team and has a comprehensive overview of our internal and external communications. She plays an important role in the strategic development of the team’s work and always has a great idea for how to effectively convey our messages.
Ditte is also a whiz at writing the funding applications that financially support the Rights Alliance’s campaigns and projects. Additionally, she handles press inquiries.
Iben Kristensen Ohl
Iben is a part of the communication team at the Rights Alliance, where she is responsible for projects and communication targeting the younger audience, focusing on education, norms, and behavior change. Iben plays an important role in developing the Rights Alliance’s educational programs.
Furthermore, Iben is in charge of the Rights Alliance’s newly established youth panel, which will be a permanent part of the organization.
In addition, Iben contributes to other communication and campaign work when needed.
Janus Hammerhøj
Janus is a recent law graduate from the University of Copenhagen specializing in copyright and generative AI. His insight into this topic is a valuable part of the Rights Alliance’s work with artificial intelligence cases.
In addition to the work with artificial intelligence, Janus is involved in managing the tools that the Rights Alliance has access to on the online platforms, including the work of using these to limit fraudulent ads with celebrities and the brands of Rights Alliance members.
Juan Rotger
Juan is a lawyer with a Master in Intellectual Property Law and Sports Law from universities in Argentina and Spain. As an important part of the enforcement team, he helps protect and enforce the rights of Rights Alliance design members and is also working on a project to expand the Rights Alliance membership in new rights areas.
Lasse Hebsgaard
With a legal background in intellectual property law, GDPR, and IT law, Lasse is an integral part of the Rights Alliance’s enforcement team, where he enforces members’ intellectual property rights.
Lasse is responsible for the literature and design sector, where he closely collaborates with the Rights Alliance’s members to represent their interests in the field of intellectual property. This includes tasks such as managing customs surveillance, handling blocking cases, liaising with public authorities in criminal matters, and participating in the Rights Alliance’s awareness campaigns.
Maria Fredenslund
Maria is the CEO and founder of the Danish Rights Alliance and has from the beginning been responsible for the strategic development and daily operations of the organisation. Maria is a fan of creativity and digital innovation and has therefore dedicated herself to securing the conditions and rights of the creative industry on the internet. As a lawyer specialising in copyright law, Maria uses her expertise to guide and advise members of the Rights Alliance in navigating copyright law when she is not keeping the country’s politicians on their toes and reminding them to protect the rights of the creative industries.
Maria is also one of the country’s sharpest speakers and frequently participates in panel debates both in Denmark and internationally, and she has also taught young lawyers in copyright law at the University of Copenhagen.

Thomas Heldrup
Thomas is a central figure in the Rights Alliance, where he leads the protection and enforcement work. With a keen ability to spot new trends and technological developments, Thomas ensures that our members are always up-to-date on what affects them from a copyright perspective. His contribution to the strategic development of the Rights Alliance is invaluable, and his insightful presentations on rights enforcement are both informative and inspiring.
Thomas has been a part of the Rights Alliance team for 8 years, where he has shown an unrivalled dedication to the protection of Danish cultural production. With his deep insight and experience, he works tirelessly to ensure that the rights of Danish cultural producers are respected and protected.
Tina Schütz Bonnichsen
Tina is a project manager and plays a central role in the internal and external communication efforts of the Rights Alliance. She is a skilled communicator who constantly works on developing the organization’s messages and narratives regarding the illegal market. As part of this, she maintains close communication with the members of the Rights Alliance and their stakeholders. The knowledge she gains from these interactions is translated externally through the production of news, newsletters, and the preparation of the Rights Alliance’s annual report.
Furthermore, Tina is responsible for internal strategic processes, ensuring that the team’s ambitious visions and sparkling ideas become concrete and targeted guiding principles.
Tore Behrndt Andersen
As a legal assistant, Tore enforces the Rights Alliance members’ rights online. With an interest in intellectual property law and several years of experience with various Meta and Google tools, he is responsible for the daily operation of the platforms’ DRM toolkits, as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting of infringing material. In addition, Tore is responsible for analyzing takedown data and impact measurement reports.
When Tore is not at the Rights Alliance office, he studies law at the University of Copenhagen
Victoria Agerskov
As part of the communications team, Victoria helps develop and drive the Rights Alliance’s educational programs and campaigns. She is creative and plays a key role in the development of the visual expression of the organization’s educational efforts. She is also responsible for ensuring that the Rights Alliance’s website and newsletters are always sharp.
In addition, Victoria is in charge of planning member events.
