About Binge Med God Stil
The campaign is targeted at Danish and media studies in the first year of secondary school. It aims to strengthen students’ sense of a healthy streaming and sharing culture and teach them to use common sense when they go online.
We know from studies that the consumption of illegal content is particularly high among young people and that many of them want information and knowledge about legal online behavior. Therefore, we have developed an educational program aimed at high school students about just this together with Lommefilm.
Through a workshop format, teachers from Lommefilm will guide students to produce their own campaign films for the awareness campaign Os Der Elsker Film. The workshop is based on an educational film and a worksheet where students are presented with different angles on illegal consumption of digital content and its consequences. By strengthening students’ ability to navigate the legal options, the program aims to contribute to a healthier streaming and sharing culture among young people.
The educational film, worksheets and workshop together will strengthen students’ media literacy, digital communication skills and digital literacy.
Associate Professor Charlotte Anette Rifbjerg Erichsen, Danish teacher at ZBC Slagelse says:
“Lommefilm has held the workshop “Binge Med God Stil” in 3rd grade at ZBC in Slagelse (HHX). The presentation of the workshop’s content and themes was exciting, and afterwards there was a good dialog between instructors and students about the creation of campaign films in groups. The two instructors were very supportive of the students’ group work on making a shot list, and there was also really good guidance on the production and editing of the campaign film. production and editing of the campaign film. It was a really good workshop on a relevant topic for high school, as the students are digitally educated through the workshop.”
